I’ve been creating since I was a child, and eventually I made it my job. I’ve been a professional artist for well over three decades. I’ve had very good times, but also very bad ones. When you come to a point where you are successful enough to make a decent living, you tend to stick with what works. I made that mistake too. Sure, it provides consistent income, but at the same time it eats away inspiration. Doing the same thing over and over again, will eventually burn you out, regardless what your job is.
